  • Blackpool takes a shine to LeafNut  - 16/07/2010 News

    Leeds based Harvard Engineering plc is pleased to announce it has won a contract worth £4M to deploy its award-winning central monitoring and wireless control solution for street lighting, LeafNut, across Blackpool. The contract follows the decision by Community Lighting Partnership (CLP), working on behalf of Blackpool Council, to award E-ON UK the renewal and ongoing maintenance work of life-expired road lighting, illuminated traffic signs and traffic signals equipment.

  • Westminster City Council deploys 21st Century Street Lights  - 14/09/2009 Application

    Keen to eliminate wasted energy and to cut pollution, Westminster City Council is taking steps to make savings from its street lighting with the deployment of a revolutionary new system it has been trialling as a part of its SMART Lights project. Savings of up to £46 per street light per year and 100kg of carbon emissions per street light per year can be made from the Council’s energy bill thanks to a ground breaking street lighting solution called LeafNut.
